Blind Eye Trilogy
Date & Time
Details
From 1–14 September, Carnarvon will become the heartbeat of community storytelling as The Actors’ Hub Studios brings its celebrated Blind Eye Trilogy and a suite of engaging activities to town. More than just performances, this visit is set to spark conversation, reflection, and real connections across our community.
The Blind Eye Trilogy is renowned across Western Australia for its electrifying mix of real-life stories and high-energy physical theatre. Drawn from the voices of everyday Australians, these shows invite us to step into the shoes of others, rethink what we know, and imagine a better way forward. Each production is both a mirror and a call to action, shining a light on the challenges our communities face and the strength we find in each other.
Over the past decade, audiences across the state have walked away moved and inspired. As one local mentor put it, “Shows like that leave little diamonds in the minds of boys… something they won’t get from anywhere else.”
But the Carnarvon program goes further than the stage. Throughout the fortnight, interactive forum theatre workshops will welcome young people and community members to dive deeper, using theatre as a safe space to share, listen, and explore new perspectives together. It’s a rare chance to build skills, challenge assumptions, and connect—shoulder to shoulder—with friends, neighbours, and visiting artists alike.
