The Shire of Carnarvon is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for our anyone in our community passionate about cultural heritage and tourism to attend a two-day workshop with Darren 'Capes' Capewell owner and operator of Wula Gura Nyinda Eco Cultural Adventures, who work with a local custodian to deliver these workshops.

Capes is an industry expert with 20 years of experience in Cultural Tourism. His extensive knowledge comes from his work in Shark Bay, where he leads tours that offer guests a profound connection to Country.

The Bushwalking on Country workshop with cover a range of topics including:

  • History of Wura Gura Nyinda
  • Aboriginal tourism insights
  • Designing engaging walking tours
  • Conducting mock tours
